Statement of Policies

Acceptance of these Policies is required to
receive Massage Therapy from Wendy L Marshall, LMT

Cancellations:   My policy is and always has been that a client who either (a) fails to arrive for a massage appointment or (b) cancels an appointment without giving me notice at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, will be charged 50-100% of their total appointment cost.  You would have been informed of that policy when you scheduled your first appointment with me, and it is stated on the back of my business cards and at my website.  In the past I was able to extend some leeway, but at present I am no longer able to vary from the stated policy.  When you schedule an appointment with me, this time is reserved for you, plus an additional half (½) hour to allow ample time for you to prepare for your massage, to dress following your massage, for scheduling a further appointment if you choose to do so, and the cleaning and sanitizing I must do after you leave and before my next client arrives.  If you cancel late, leaving me no time to schedule another client in your place, or if you simply fail to appear for your appointment, this prevents me from scheduling another client at that time, thus losing the opportunity to work and earn income for that time.

Appointment Times:   Please plan ahead to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.  If we start late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours.  Regardless of the length of session, you are still responsible to pay a minimum of 50% of the full scheduled appointment fee.

Sickness:   Massage/bodywork is not appropriate for anyone who is suffering any infectious or contagious illness.  Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware that you are suffering an infectious or contagious condition.  If you cancel on this basis within 24 hours of your appointment time, the cancellation fee may be waived.    

Payment:  Payment is due at time of service.  At this time, I do not accept cards. Cash and checks are fine.

 Fees:  One hour $85  90 Minutes $120.  This is your table time, not the entire appointment time.  Please allow extra time in your schedule for the time prior to and after actual treatment.
